The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Management and Leadership
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Management and Leadership is a qualification that helps support individual progress within working current role and assists in aligning knowledge and skills required to meet future personal and/or organisational goals and objectives.
The qualification content provides an understanding of the fundamental management and leadership developing knowledge and skills that may be required for employment in a range of public, private and voluntary sectors.
The qualification continues the management and leadership focus of the VTCT Level 3 Award in Management and Leadership, further developing knowledge and skills that may be required in key areas of management and leadership.
Mandatory topics include:
- UV31332 – Key principles of management and leadership
- UV31333 - Improving your own leadership and management performance
A wide range of optional units are available covering topics such as marketing, working relationships, coaching skills, staff appraisal, budgeting and recruitment. The full list of units is presented in the learner Record of Assessment book (ROA Specification) further developing knowledge and skills that may be required in key areas of management and leadership.

Course Overview

Entry Requirements - This qualification is best suited for learners aged 19+
Guidance on delivery
Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 160 Hours
Guided Learning Hours (GLH) – 160 Hours
TQT is an estimate of the total number of hours it would take an average learner to achieve and demonstrate the necessary level of attainment to be awarded with a qualification, both under direct
supervision (forming guided learning hours) and without supervision (all other time). TQT and GLH values are advisory and assigned to a qualification as guidance.
Course Fees: £995.00 per candidate plus £67.50 registration fee. This fee is exclusive of VAT
N.B. Unitary delivery and certification is available - price on application.
Course delivery and assessment is blended i.e., face to face and online mix. Delivery blend is at present subject to negotiated and appropriate change throughout the COVID-19 pandemic period.
