Pre Learning assessment to be conducted prior to the course, to include:
Introduction to CAP168, Chapter 8 – Tables, Introduction to CAP699, Media, Testing: Appliance/Equipment/Media/Procedures/Record Keeping, Principles of ICS - Including: DRA, ARA, Tactical Modes, Operational Plans, FireFighters Maxim, Operational Discretion, incidents and Initial Message and Risk Control, Communications, Managing Cordons, Spans of Control and Tabards and Incident Resources - Local Authority Support.
On site learning to include:
JESIP & METHANE, Tactics & Techniques in Incident Management, Emergency Planning, Transfer of Authority, Post Incident Roles, Case Studies, Fire Studio Scenarios and Fire Ground Exercises
